A Stag Party is the perfect way to say good bye to bachelor with a bang and the ideal opportunity of doing everything and of fulfilling every crazy desire before your wife puts an end to it. (That it is for the better, hardly any bloke understands!). A stag party is generally organized by the best man or the best friend of the groom, and all the other male friends are invited for a night of uninhibited fun.

Venue: The venue for the Stag party or weekend should be decided upon well in advance, to avoid any last minute glitches. Ideally, the party should be organized two weeks before the wedding, but many prefer to have it as near to the wedding as possible for maximum impact. The venue of the party could either be a club or a private farmhouse, where there will be hardly anyone else present to pull the reigns on a night of unrestrained merriment.

Theme: The venue can be designed around a particular theme and for the boys the most popular is of course the beach theme with cutouts of beautiful women around. Themes are also known to vary from Greek gods, the ranchers of Texas or to be influenced by the tribes of Africa. For such a theme you need associated costumes which you can hire, but be sure to check with club if you are allowed to have your own costume party among the regular crowd.

Games: The games arranged for the stag nights are very entertaining for the friends and surely very embarrassing for the groom. However, other games like Army men, Dare Cards and Single Man are also very popular. Almost all the games, however, require the consumption of huge amounts of alcohol and it would be wise to have someone in the group, who can hold back a little and take a little care to see things do not go out of hand.

Costumes: You can add a lot of fun by asking all those coming for the party to turn up in funny costumes like banana costume, convict costume, sailor costume or even the inflatable sumo costumes. They can also be the task that the stag would have to do, like parading in front of a group of girl’s in gorilla costume or else to down any number of shots. The possibilities of funny costumes are endless.

If budget allows, then you can also plan for a nice, long weekend, (and hopefully it would be enough be to bring them back to their senses!).
